Hopefully your student(s) came home with their Purple History Folders with their Test Reviews for Ch. 26-27. We have a test this Wed., Oct. 3rd. I was very pleased how well the kids answered the questions today, and as long as they study, they will be ready. Reminder that the statements are listed as true statements and will be seen on the test as true or false. There was a false statement listed on question 16, so we discussed that it was a false statement, 2-6th grade I wrote in red that it was false and 7-8th grade wrote in false themselves.
I will read the tests out loud to 2-4th. They have multiple choice questions and true/false.
5-8th grade will have fill in the blank, multiple choice, and true/false.
Return purple folders this Wed. EMPTY!!!!
We finished our cotton gins in 5-8th grade. 2-4th we have just a bit more and will finish up after the test on Wed. They seemed to really enjoy making these. There were lots of directions and they were great listeners!
Next week we will visit China and be making and painting a vase, in Chi'en-lung style. These will more than likely stay at MOE until they dry, then the following week will go home (I might keep a few as examples for the Open House in Dec.).
