I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend!
I am just letting you know that I am sending the student's tests home with them today. Please have your child make corrections to the matching section and return them to me on Monday. I know that we went through module one really fast so we will take the future modules at a little slower pace from now on. I have the reading assignments and classroom work for the year on a schedule so if you are interested in that document please let me know.
These are the pages I would like your student to have read by next Wednesday (9/12):
Pgs 40-44 and On Your Own questions on page 44
pgs 44-48 and On Your Own questions on page 48
pgs. 48-55 and On Your Own questions on page 55
*Have your student answer all On Your Own questions on the pages provided in the binder.
The author of the book suggests students work on science 30 minutes a night so you can break this reading up however is best for your student. It is broken up in sections so that your child can read one section a night, but if you want to break it up to read less each night that works too as long as it is read by Wednesday. We will do all experiments in class.
Please have your child work on the study guide questions as they read so they are not doing it all in one night. They can either use the colorful pages in their binder to record their answers or they can write their answers on a separate sheet of paper.
Have a wonderful day!!!
Thank you,
Cassity
