Good Afternoon,

We had a great day! We read from the book and took notes.  If your child did not get the last reading assignment completed please be sure that they get caught up.  We will not re-read the material in class that has been given as a homework assignment. 

5 & 6 grade - Great Job, did all their reading in class!  Just be sure to answer the questions 1-12 on pg. 28 of your Journal and visit the coarse website to view another activity. 

3 & 4 grade - Read Don't Have a Calf (pg 26) and Toothed Whales (pg 27), take notes and answer questions 1-12 on pg. 28 of your Journal.  Juniors need to color their color pages.

2nd grade - Read lots, great job paying attention!  Please read Toothed Whales (pg 27) and take notes.  Parents, I noticed that only a couple of the students had written any notes from Mondays reading assignment.  Please help them to write the words in bold and talk about the meanings, this will help them with terminology in classroom discussion.
