Penguins/First Graders
This week we are reading the book Albert. We are discussing
birds in the Bible and how Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. Our
character study is sacrifice. The state for this week is Illinois. Our
show and tell for Wednesday is birds. Kind of like we did last week;
pick a bird, any bird and tell us 3-5 things about that bird: normal
areas it's found, habitat, a picture or description, predators, what do
the eggs look like, etc. Wikipedia says there are over 10,000 species
of birds from the tiny Bee Hummingbird to the large ostrich. Have fun
picking just one!
