Demonstration speeches

I hate to send students home with projects that are a work-in-progress because, historically, half of them don't make it back into the classroom and students have to start from scratch.  So, I kept most of the students' notes that they wrote for their demonstration speeches, but wanted you to see where your student is at.  Please note - these are a work in progress.

It would be a tremendous help if parents would assist their students in settling on a topic that best suits their interests and ability, as you know your student best.  Additionally, students will benefit a great deal from practicing at home.  Thank you so much for helping to make these demonstration speeches a fun success!

I expect that we'll begin giving speeches a week from Monday, so it's imperative that your student has selected their topic by class this Monday.  THANK YOU!
