Demonstration speech schedule

In every class, some students are ready to give their speech while others are still preparing for theirs.  With that in mind, my goal is to schedule speeches with 10-20 minutes of class time remaining so that those who are still preparing have time to rehearse.

**With the time remaining in class, 3rd-6th graders who do not need to rehearse will work on their Wax Museum projects.  Most students have chosen a Wax Museum person - a real person who has contributed something worthwhile to the world.  They need to bring research material with them to school so that they can begin brainstorming/writing their presentations.  The best materials are ones that are at their reading level, so please keep that in mind as you guide the beginnings of this project.  If your students is not an independent reader, please read the book with them at home and let me know so that I can help them as necessary.

Parents are welcome to come watch during speech time on the day their child speaks.

The schedule:

2nd grade will begin at 9:35am
