Well, I was very pleased for the most part on how the students did on their first History tests. I know the True/False questions gave the kids some trouble, but I think they will learn how to pick out the false statements. These will be coming home in their purple folders on Monday. PLEASE keep the test and return the folder on Wed. I was very happy to see that all but 2 kids returned their folders today. That's awesome.
I reminded the kids to remind you that they need the shoebox and EMPTY paper towel rolls (2) next Wed.
Next week we will visit Catherine the Great in Russia and then the following week looking at some great new inventions.
I am very proud of the the kids. I know for many of them they were nervous and this was their first real test outside of home. Tests will continue to be in the same format. So, if they are prepared from the review, they'll be prepared for the test.
