Next week is going to be a lot of fun in Public Speaking!
1st-2nd grades: The Wax Museum is finally here!! Monday, Feb. 20 at 12:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our lunch period is 11:50am-12:15pm. 1st-2nd grade parents/grandparents are welcome to eat with us and then stick around for the Museum. Don't be late - their presentations are very short and we don't want you to miss them.
3rd-5th grades: Author's Day Monday. We wrote stories in teams yesterday and will read them on Monday. After reading our team stories, students will read aloud other stories, poems, or songs they have written throughout the year - including anything they write between now and Monday. Write, write, write!! Have fun!
Middle School - Debates begin on Wednesday! We have worked for weeks, researching and preparing our arguments for/against school uniforms and for/against lowering the KS driving age back down to 16. I'm looking forward to their debut debates! As always, parents are welcome to come watch (your student will know on Monday if they are debating Wednesday or the following Monday). Wednesday's debate will begin at 10:10am. Monday's at11am.
