Today was the very first time in a classroom setting outside of home for many Mighty Oaks students. Throughout the halls the excitement was palpable. Students wore ear to ear smiles, enjoyed meeting new friends and teachers, and especially loved lunch.
After school, students were quoted as saying: "It was epic!" "I loved it." "My favorite subject is History." "My favorite class was Home Ec, Science, History, Writing, PE...all of them!" "I loved lunch."
All of the kids loved lunch at Mighty Oaks. Who knew school lunch would be such a big hit?
